2025 in Review: Building the Foundations of LEA

As the year ends, we want to reflect on our progress at LEA and our future direction. LEA focuses on sustainable, long-term development rather than quick, flashy launches. Since the beginning, our priority has been to establish a robust, future-ready foundation for a modular, secure, and scalable blockchain architecture. We dedicated this year to this goal.

What We Worked On

Consensus: Work in Progress

The consensus layer is crucial for any Layer-1 protocol, and LEA is no different. This year, we have been refining our consensus strategy to ensure it supports LEA’s goal of separating execution from consensus.

While the consensus is still under development, we have laid the necessary architectural groundwork. Our efforts have centered on accuracy, scalability, and aiming for decentralization without rushing the process.

Post-Quantum Cryptography: Ready

A significant achievement this year was implementing Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).

Instead of delaying PQC integration, we incorporated it from the start into our core architecture. This makes LEA secure not only today but also prepared for future cryptographic challenges. PQC support is now active and integrated within the LEA ecosystem.

Modularity: Completed with LEA BasePOD

Modularity is key for LEA. This year, we finalized our modular foundation with the LEA BasePOD, which includes PQC support.

The BasePOD sets a clear, scalable baseline that supports application-specific logic, execution environments, and future updates to evolve independently without affecting the core protocol’s stability. This modular approach allows LEA to accommodate various applications while maintaining flexibility.

On-Chain UI: MVP in Progress

User experience is critical, even at the protocol level. This year, we began developing the On-Chain UI layer, which will enable smart contracts and on-chain logic to offer detailed, interactive interfaces. The MVP is currently under development and is a crucial step toward making on-chain systems more transparent, accessible, and user-friendly.

LEA Pulse Community Mobile App

In parallel, we actively advanced the LEA Pulse mobile app (iOS and Android), which already brings key parts of this vision to life. LEA Pulse serves as the primary community and interaction layer of the LEA ecosystem and currently includes:

  • A built-in Referral System to grow the network organically
  • Native LEA transactions via a non-custodial wallet
  • Biometric security (Face ID / Fingerprint) for secure access
  • Rewarding challenges that incentivize participation and early contribution

What Comes Next

With the core layers established, we are now focusing on:

  • Advancing and completing the consensus layer
  • Enhancing the on-chain user interface
  • Progressing toward decentralization gradually

We view the next phase as a shift from foundational development to broader system integration and operational functionality. Each component we’ve developed is designed to scale seamlessly into this next stage without needing major changes.

Closing Thoughts

This year was about focused, strategic building. We appreciate everyone who has followed our progress, offered feedback, tested early components, or supported LEA’s vision.

2026 will focus on practical implementation.

Thank you for your continued support.
